Comfort Food: Slow Cooker Maple Apple Pork Tenderloin

What you’ll need:
pork tenderloin
apple slices (about 1/2 inch thick, use your favourite cooking apples)
2 tbsp maple syrup
4-6 sage leaves (fresh or frozen)
What you’ll do:
1.  Use a sharp knife to cut slits into (but do not cut all the way through) the pork tenderloin.  I cut about every inch or so.  Place into slow cooker.2.  Place 1-2 apple slices into each slit on the tenderloin.
3.  Drizzle with 2 tbsp real maple syrup (don’t use the fake stuff!  if you don’t have any real maple syrup, use honey instead).
4.  Place whole sage leaves on top of tenderloin.  Add salt and pepper to taste.
5.  Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
