Autumn Wreath

This wreath was completely inspired by this pin.  Instructions can be found there.

I used Loops & Threads Charisma in Copper (colour #27) and a 12 inch wreath form.  This is a bulky yarn (not super bulky like the one I pinned) and it took 141 single crochets to go completely around the form to start out.

I think I’d like to make another wreath like this one — it was so easy I had the entire project completed in less than 3 hours while chatting away and snacking on chocolate goodies at our most recent Yums and Yarns night.  If I make this again, I think I might get creative and try something a little different for the outside border.  I’m sure I have a few patterns with blanket edgings that would look really nice in the round like this.

My only concern is how to protect a yarn wreath from the weather…?
