Seat Belt Pillows

A while back I pinned this seat belt pillow on pinterest and thought I’d like to make some of these soon for our kidlets.

In August I picked up some lovely soft fleece to make the pillow cases.  Then I sewed 2 lines down the length of two of our unused, flat, cheap pillows and cut them apart between the sewing lines.  Slip the pillows into the cases, add velcro to the straps to help hold the pillows to the seat belts so the kidlets can’t complain about dropping out of reach in the van and here we are!
My version is wider than what I pinned but I think that works better for my kids.  If I were to make another one for a baby/toddler car seat I might make it narrower.  I got three pillows from 1 yard of fleece with just a few scrap strips of fabric left over.
