We were celebrating a birthday with the Pintuck family this weekend and got to check out this great space! Pinhey’s Point is an historic site and estate with over 80 acres of land — perfect green space for picnics, BBQs (several on site; just bring your charcoal), watching the sailboats, playing frisbee, or just watching the kidlets climb and slide on the playground. We didn’t get to see them this time, but there are also tours of the house (where you’ll find several exhibits) and the Old St. Mary’s Church. There are lots of educational programs as well that I think we’ll have to look into (maybe with some fellow home schoolers?). We’ll definitely have to go back and enjoy this space some more!!
